Carwash started in 1989 at the Camden Palace. Previous London
home venues have included Maximus in Leicester Square, Le
Scandale in Berwick St. (for over 5 years) and of course
London Astoria 2, The Astoria, Sound and The Hanover Grand.
We then had a short stint at Propaganda aka Trapp (a new
name for a refurbished Le Scandale). Now our home venue
is the Aquarium, 256 Old St., EC1 which we love very much.
Carwash rocks this venue !! .. the vibe is intimate whilst
having a big club feel and is always amazing.!! Do check
out the the pool and the other rooms too ..... remember
bring a bikini (we have towels)
What has been happening in recent years ?
Not happy with just being a hangout of pop
stars past and present ... clubland's royalty, and London's
coolest and cutest with celebrities ranging from Rachel
Stevens, Shakira, Melinda Messinger, Denise Van Outen, Jay
Kay (Jamiroquai), Robbie Williams, Martine McClutcheon to
Kylie & Danii Minogue ... we regularly transport our
glittering carnival across the globe wherever places are
in need of FUNK
